“Most people go with their feelings,” Iverson Jackson, who heads the African-American Coalition of the Arkansas Republican Party, told the Washington County Republican Women February 23. Holding a copy of the state party platform, Jackson said Republicans must “stay with the platform. We have to educate ourselves and we have to educate others.” And he said, Republicans need to hold elected officials accountable to the platform. Jackson is senior pastor of Zoe Bible Church of Little Rock.
