Ensuring every law passed by the legislature applies to everyone is a primary goal of Leon Jones if he is elected as Arkansas attorney general in 2022. Jones spoke to the Washington County Republican Committee February 23. Currently executive director of the Arkansas Fair Housing Commission, Jones said he would “make sure the rule of law is fair and accessible to everyone.” Responding to a question regarding Arkansas sovereignty, he said his basic concern is “whatever impacts Arkansans,” whether it be legislation or regulatory overreach.
